Community Access Pricing & Rental Packages
At Dream City, we believe community spaces should help people connect, celebrate, learn, and grow. Our community access pricing and special rental packages make our event venues in Iowa City more accessible to families, nonprofits, schools, faith communities, and local organizations.
Family Celebration Package
Dream City offers reduced package pricing for families hosting private, noncommercial celebrations in the A. Jordan Event Space.
Weekday (Monday–Thursday): $400
Weekend (Friday–Sunday): $500
Included reservation time: Four hours
Eligible celebrations include birthdays, graduations, baby showers, bridal showers, family reunions, anniversaries, repasts, celebrations of life, and other approved family gatherings.
Additional reservation details:
Additional time may be purchased at the standard A. Jordan Event Space hourly rate, subject to availability and advance approval.
All setup, decorating, vendor access, event activities, cleanup, and departure must take place within the reserved four-hour block.
The package is limited to private, noncommercial family celebrations and is subject to Dream City’s rental requirements.
Mission Partner Rates for Nonprofits & Community Organizations
Dream City supports organizations working to strengthen our community. Qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, schools, faith communities, neighborhood associations, and government entities may be eligible for reduced event and meeting space rental rates.
Available Mission Partner Discounts
Standard Mission Partner Reservation: 5% off
Approved Off-Peak Reservation: 10% off Monday–Thursday reservations beginning before 5 p.m.
Discount eligibility is determined by mission alignment, required documentation, availability, and compliance with Dream City’s rental requirements. Discounts are not guaranteed and require approval.
Community Rental Rates & Policies
Our standard rental rates are based on the day of the week:
Weekday rates: Monday–Thursday
Weekend rates: Friday–Sunday
Holiday reservations, high-impact events, unusually complex setups, and reservations requiring extended hours may require a custom quote. All rentals are subject to availability, approval, and Dream City’s rental requirements.
Discount terms and exclusions
Discounts cannot be combined or stacked.
Community-access discounts do not apply to recurring packages, commercial kitchen bundles, coworking memberships, storage, virtual office services, retail leases, deposits, damage charges, or add-on services.
All discounted reservations remain subject to availability, approval, and applicable rental policies.
